Your new role

This is role presents a great opportunity for someone new to the industry to get their foot in the door in a supportive company that will support your growth in the role. Your role will entail:

• Submitting monthly applications to clients
• Assessing applications from subcontractors
• Helping send out enquiries on our bigger projects that are coming up
• Raising subcontract orders
• Assessing payment notices
• Site visits and measurements
• Aiding the Senior QS in the administration of sub-contracts
• Processing payment applications to agreed calendar

About you

Alongside a willingness to join the team and get stuck in, the successful Junior Quantity Surveyor will need to demonstrate a desire to grow and learn within the role. Furthermore, you should have:

• Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering qualification or working towards, (experience and time served rather than formal qualifications will be considered)
• Some knowledge on NEC 4
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience of Commercial Management works on site
