As Schemes Works Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of the project improvements and developments. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance projects and develop detailed project plans, budgets within the timeline.
Managed pre-construction and planning to execute traffic management and meeting supplier requirements.
Demonstrate regular inspections and ensure the work complies with relevant regulations by conducting site audits, daily diary records and overseeing change management.
Support the commercial team and understand the delivery of the construction phase.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on maintenance techniques and best practices.
Making sure all required documentation is included and that gangs are ready to get to work.
Assist in resolving site and construction-related issues, communicating changes to subcontractors and other stakeholders.
The Schemes Works Supervisor you will lead and demonstrate relationship building skills, diplomacy and your willingness to complete the project to a high standard and within the timeframe.
You will be able to tick the following below
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
CSCS card holder and SSSTS holder
Strong communication skills to address all queries from stakeholders.
Background in highways with demonstrable management experience
Previous experience leading a team throughout a project from start to finish.
Strong analytical and numerical abilities and computer literate.
Paying up to £400.00 a day outside IR35
