We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our highways team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the financial management of our highway projects, ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
You will ideally tick the below
Manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for highway projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Administer contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Evaluate and assess variations, claims, and change orders, providing recommendations and solutions to mitigate potential cost impacts.
Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and selection of subcontractors and suppliers, while maintaining competitive pricing and quality standards.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the following
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience working with NEC contracts
Strong background in civil engineering, highways maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
