Your new role

Specialising in undertaking transport planning studies and developing traffic and transportation schemes for public and private sector clients and this raft of hires will play a key role in growing their traffic and transportation offering in London.

In short you will be

  • Lead traffic modelling projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

  • Develop and calibrate traffic models using software such as, VISSIM.

  • Conduct traffic simulation and analysis to evaluate current and future traffic conditions, and implement and optimize models to simulate traffic scenarios, including demand forecasting, capacity analysis, and network performance assessment.

  • Collect, process, and analyze traffic data from various sources, including surveys, sensors, and historical records.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, methodologies, and recommendations.

  • Evaluate the impact of proposed transportation projects, policies, and regulations on traffic flow and safety.

About you

The successful candidate may be at the early stages of their career or may have been in the game for decades, but they should be motived to play a key role in the development of the Traffic and Transportation department.

Ideally you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Strong experience using LinSig and Vissim or microsimulation software VisVAP.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex traffic modelling projects.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
