The role

Working on infrastructure works compromising new parks, bridges, footpaths and road and cycle links, the ideal surveyor will be expected to but not limited to

  • Setting out and as-built surveys for installation

  • Reviewing installation drawings and providing instruction to site erection team

  • Quality assurance management

  • Producing and checking Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Construction Phase Plans

  • Producing works programmes and liaising with contractors to ensure programme dates are met

  • Liaising and facilitating relationships with designers, contractors, stakeholders and client

  • Advising designers on buildability of designs

  • Managing all permits and approvals for the project

  • Assisting in resolving site/construction issues

  • Arranging and chairing progress meetings with contractors

  • Ensuring workforce adhere to H&S and Environmental rules

About you

The surveyor should possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills to meticulously oversee the project.

The ideal candidate will be able to tick the below

  • Fully qualified Civil Engineer or Surveyor

  • Sound knowledge of Traffic Management and Health & Safety practises

  • Demonstrate that you are hard-working, knowledgeable and personable individual that can work in their own initiative but that can also take and follow directions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Professional approach and effective role model for the Company’s values and culture
