Your new role

This is a multi-faceted Supervisor role which will see you ensuring the smooth running of our local depot. Based in London, you will be running a tight ship making sure all the teams are operating in a timely manner and running the weekly toolbox talks with good humour.

Your week will be made up of the below responsibilities:

  • Putting together job packs, making sure all required documentation is included and that gangs are ready to get to work.

  • Working with the Programmer to make sure KPIs and being hit, logging defects and managing people resource

  • Conducting site audits and promoting health and safety.

  • Dealing with the HR requirements for your team; annual and sick leave, collecting weekly timesheets etc, health and safety.

  • Managing your team to hit daily targets and running daily check ins as they return to site

  • Having an overview of what is going on at the depot, organising purchase orders, preparing job packs for weekly Programme meetings.

About you

As this is largely a people management role you will need to have effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport within a team.

You will ideally hit most of the below points:

  • Background in highways with demonstrable management experience

  • Attention to detail and time management skills

  • Leadership skills and able to manage diverse teams and multiple projects at one time

  • Keen decision-making skills

  • CSCS card holder

  • UK drivers licence
